Default replacement headlights

Is there a good place to get replacement headlight housings? My headlights are still hazing after having them professionally sanded and cleaned by two different body shops. I believe they are messed up.

I have xenon bulbs if that makes any difference.

Thanks

They weren't sealed properly if the hazing is on the outside. If they're worth the price you paid, they would have either clear coated them or used a quality ceramic sealant to ensure that it wouldn't happen again for a long time. PM me your location and I'll try to arrange something for you if I can. You definitely wont have to buy new housings if I'm right since it'll be a lot cheaper

I am looked in Ventura County California. I appreciate the help. I am going to have someone who specializes in headlight restoration to come and look at them next and see if he can fix them.

It looks like I might have to replace the headlights, there seems to be little cracks inside of them!

Question: how can I tell if I have AFS or not?

You would have an AFS Off button next to the fuel door release.

Wow thats far from me otherwise I'd give you a hand. Is there a warranty from the body shops? The cracks were probably caused from too much pressure and too much heat when buffing them

Thanks, I definitely appreciate the help No warranty unfortunately, but the shop that is putting on my clear bra will see if they can fix them, if not no big deal I found a good pair on Ebay.

Check out ebay motors under 'used' some serious deals to be had at times.

I missed out on a pair of the dark chrome RX400h's for <300$ shipped, looked in new shape too.

Just saw a couple of singles for 100$/side AFS & HID headlamps.

I have a question. My car key buttons don't seem to work when lately when it is cold outside. I am wondering where would purchase a replacement key transmitter . I think that is what it is called.

The transmitter is more than likely still good. All you probably need is a new battery inside the case. Go out and purchase a CR2016 battery and replace the one you have inside. Nothing else required.

I have the same hazing on the outside of my headlights. I have an '05 RX w/o AFS and I'm in Las Vegas. Is there something I can use to clean them up myself or is this a job better left to the pros? And how much should I expect to pay to have them properly treated? Thanks

I replaced the battery a couple of months ago with a brand new one.

Thinking of installing new bulbs while you have easy access or are you going with the ones from the original headlights?

Great question, I never thought of replacing the bulbs. My look fine to me, I don't know when they would burn out though.
