Hello guys. I have 2004 rx 330 l did upgrade the nav dvd few years ago lately I started to habe cannoe red dvd on screen message. Either shut down the car or it may come back to life on its own. Sometimes says clean dvd. If i will get the dvd for cleaning. Is that ok or you may have some suggestions. Thanks

It could also be that the disc is going bad. Do you have the previous generation DVD still? Would try putting that back in if possible to test the system.

Also, was this an original OEM disc or a burned disc from eBay? Computer burned discs have a tendency to start losing information over time at a much faster rate than those created on factory equipment. I think it also has to do with the media used as well.

Yes I have the old dvd but is it real that you cannot go back and put older version dvd
