Reset Transmission ECU/ECM
I would like to reset the transmission's "learnt way" of driving and get it back to pretty much factory code. I know that the negative battery terminal can be pulled and this will reset the ECU for the transmission but it will also reset everything elsse (memory presets, radio, etc). What fuse do I need to pull just for the ECU/ECM. I believe it's a fuse in the engine bay, just need to make sure I pull the right one and how long do I keep it out for. I did this previously on my old Soarer and it did make a world of a difference to how the gearbox responded while driving.

Digging this old post up...
Is there a single fuse that could be pulled and plugged back in to reset the ECU? And what exactly gets reset and "relearned" ?
According to this post there is:

Can someone confirm this procedure?

According to my Lexus Service Manager :
The only way to reset it without the computer is to remove the battery terminals for 30mins or more than refit them and it should reset back to factory settings. You will have to recode in the windows to go up and down. This is done by sending each door glass down off the switch on the door concerned and holding down the switch for 5 seconds then doing the same thing in the up position for 5 seconds. They will not work from the drivers door switch panel until you do this
