I use stock Mobil 1 5W30. Find it to be enough in low emission, low friction engines.

I use the regular mobil 1 5w30 synthetic with a toyota filter. Last oil change was at 5000 miles and i even sent a sample to Blackstone labs for them to check it. Every metric was below the averages...they even suggested i go to 7000 miles before the next change. 2006 rx330 fwd, 80,000 miles.

High Mileage for a Toyota/ or Japanease Vehicle: 300k miles
High Mileage for a domestic vehicle: 75,000- 100,000 miles

I use Pennzoil Ultra 5W-30, I've used Mobil 1 5W-30 before, and didn't have any issues with it though.

Sounds like a plan. I`m using Valvoline conventional right now, and the motor is much smoother than on the Pennzoil Ultra I was using. Especially at higher rpm`s. Seems like this motor likes a more robust oil, and MB-1 HM is definitely a more robust oil. But,since it runs so good on the Valvoline, I may just stay with it. But the MB-1 has a much better cleaning additive package. So I`m kind of torn as to which to use. ( in the long run)

This is a great idea, here is the link for people if they want to try it. You order a free test kit, and pay $25.00 for the actual test. takes about 1-2 weeks for the kit to show up.
