Does the 2008 rx model have a usb connection/port? My mother recently purchased a 2011 and they have a great usb port in the middle console. I didnt see one on my 2008 (with navigation). Anyone know about this? thank you!

No. Needs to be added using the iPod Interface kit from Toyota/Lexus or a third-party product such as VAISTECH.

If after all this you have no luck. And want to start a new topic. State which type of car and equipment you have installed. For example the year. Is it a 330 or 350. FWD or AWD. Mark Levinson or Premium Stereo. Navigation. Rear Entertainment. Does the system work and your only getting a warning. Things like that.

On your USB connection. The second generation RX does not have one or a audio AUX input. If you look through the forums. You will see numerous options on how to connect a phone or iPod to your RX.

Will the link below work on a 2008 Lexus IS ( I'm sure if it will, itll work on your car as well) but I want t know if a 2008 lexus is 250 has little gap thing shown in the pics on link

I used the GTA kit on my 04 with great results. Easy install too.
