Mouse in my glove box!
Found a mouse nest in my glove box. I'm super ripped. He chewed through the cabin air filter plastic tray and chewed up the filter. Made a mess of my glove box. I cleaned it all up and put a mouse trap in my glove box today while I'm at work in my office. Anyone else ever have this problem? Guess this little guy likes luxury SUV's too. LOL!

Victor makes a new all plastic mouse trap. It's a clam shell design and you squeeze the back to drop the victim and reset the trap. Not need to touch a wire like when setting the old style.
Smear a little peanut butter on the bait area and on the upper lip. They come two in a package. I got a pair last fall and have eliminated a dozen mice from behind my garage so far. I put them outside in a coffee can so the critters don't even get into the building.

Happened in my Highlander 2002, 2-3 years ago, during Fall. But there was not only one mouse: 6 of them (all "babies")!!! They were all dried (probably looking for heat)!!! You could imagine the smell... XD

UPDATE-
Last night I used peanut butter on a mouse trap to lure this little guy in... I put it in the glove box along side the roll of toilet paper he can't seem to get enough of. Well, he ate more toilet paper, but ignored the mouse trap. I even used Jiff (choosey Mom's choose Jiff). LOL
I can't seem to find his newest nest, which bothers me the most. To think he's pooping and peeing somewhere in my car, chomping on wires and whatever else he can... Tonight we are setting MANY traps.

you gotta use those sticky padsrxbunny13, just place those all over your car when you park it and for sure its bound to step on one. And hopefully he doesn't chew the wires because that would be a nightmare. Good luck

Good call stunt66. I didn't think of using those sticky pads. I'm making a trip to the local hardware store to see what I can come up with. Thanks!!

Wear gloves when laying down the traps. Due to the oils on our fingers mice can smell it and some won't go near it . Wear gloves when you take the trap out the package and lay them down in the car.
If you're going to get the glue in the tray just leave it out or leave it by the toilet paper that it had fun playing with. If it's the cardboard kind, cut the edges off so that it's all glue and then roll it up in a square, so it's like a tube.
