Default Free Car Washes - really?

Just wondering if ALL Lexi dealers are compelled to honor the "free car washes for life" as a corporate wide mandate - or if it's at their discretion?

1. Yes, I realize they might make you wait an hour or more to get it.
2. What if you didn't even buy the car from them?

No, that is a dealer thing. If they offer the service it is more than likely just for their customers. How do the determine who is who? More than likely they just look to see if the dealer's logo is on the back of your vehicle.

You are expected to get a free wash with scheduled service appointments no matter where you purchased your Lexus when you take it to Lexus for service.

We didnt buy ours from the local lexus dealer and each time we go in for warranty work she comes back nice and clean. On another car forum im on, a lot of the members are super **** about their paint and they were saying never let them wash it because they dont give a **** about using proper products and techniques.

I think every lexus dealers should give free car washes to all lexus vehicles. They just put it through the machines anyways. The more traffic they get, the more business they'll create. I should be able to get free car washes every week for the premium we pay for service. It's not like there's a guy doing hand washes back there.

If they need it our Lexu$ dealer always washes our cars when they are in for service of any kind (the black one always needs washing). The SA even gave me a rain check when the weather was bad once. However, I think it's probably a dealer-specific offering as mentioned earlier.

Along those lines, we still have a '05 Toyota Highlander Limited which came with lifetime car washes AND lifetime tires. That's worked out nicely. But somehow I don't see our Lexu$ dealer adopting the lifetime tire incentive.
