What year? Gen 5 systems won't transfer but Gen 6 will transfer contacts. But both will pair.

Oops... I assumed all RX350's were Gen5. Didn't realize there were 350's that had the Gen6 navi installed (my 07 is Gen5).

Was this only on the 08?

The Generation 6 was introduced starting with the 2010 model year.

Yep, sorry didn't realize what year you had. I would assume there would be an app that would push the phonebook over via bluetooth. Don't know though.

I have a 2007 RX not sure if I'm Gen 5 or 6. How do I determine which? I don't want to purchase an I-Phone if it won't link up with bluetooth in the car. My contact would be nice to have but currently my contacts don't link with an older bluetooth phone.

2007 is Gen 5. Gen 6 starts in 2010 models. You can always manually add contacts.
