I bought new pads and rotors for all 4 corners at Rockauto.com. I bought the Raybestos advanced technology pads and rotors. Rear rotors are $50/ each and fronts are $73/ each. Pads are front $50 and rear $36. Way cheaper than OEM and IMHO, at least equal to if not better quality. Quiet, smooth, and stops on a dime now.

So around $350 shipped in parts and I installed them myself, or a good mechanic would charge 1-2 hours of labor.

So better to replace rotors than to have them machine?

I am assuming that the pads are ceramic?

I had some vibrations so I replaced the front rotors. A rear pad had worn to the metal and chewed into the rear rotor so I thought I would replace both rears too. I also wanted to have matching brands on all four wheels.

Oh and yes they are ceramic pads.
