2005 RX330 Passenger's side wiper
Hello,
I'm experiencing a problem with my passenger's side wiper. When I active the wipers, the passengers side does not clean or really touch the windshield for about 5 inches from the resting position. Once past the 5" mark the wiper works flawlessly. This problem is present at a stopped position or driving speeds
Any ideas, as I'm not very mechanically inclined.
Thanks in advance.

two simple things to try...
1. thoroughly clean the windscreen, especially the area that's not being well wiped
2. replace the wiper blades (do them both)
if that doesn't sort out the problem, then it could be a loose wiper arm or it's slightly bent...

Sometimes there is a slight hitch in the path due to the inability of the wiper blade to flex properly to the curve. Would try just lifting the arm off the windshield, grab the middle of the wiper blade insert, and pull gently like you would a hunting bow. Do that a few times. Examine the blade insert during this process to make sure it moves in the glides at the top and bottom of the wiper arm.
