Default Question about wood steering wheel and accents

So, ever since I got my CPO RX350 I have been wondering why my steering wheel is a lighter color than all the other wood accents in my car. I asked a Lexus detail guy today if he'd ever seen another Lexus like this and he just scratched his chin and was puzzled, said he'd never seen anything like it. Can you all think of reasons? The detail guy and I knew it wasn't from sun fading because the color is consistent throughout the steering wheel, it's not faded or showing color variations. But, the accents in the rest of the car(on the door, shifter ****, cup holder accents, etc) is a more red, darker wood while the steering wheel is more blonde wood color with a light red. So, after all I've been through with this car, I keep wondering 'what the heck did I buy?'

If the vehicle is new, it should match. Ask the dealer to fix the problem. My understanding is that Lexus user real wood, so a slight variation is OK, but it should not stand out as being different.

If old, you never know what the previous owner might have done.

Ask the dealer if the color of the wood on the steering wheel happens to match any of the other wood types/colors used in the RX. May not have faded, rather, it may be a in fact a different wood. Previous owner may have had a problem and replaced with the wrong one somewhere along the line.

A wood steering wheel is an added option feature. That is why it is a different color. Supposedly wood steering wheels came from a different tree, than the accents inside our cars. Mine is also a different color than the rest of accents in my car, and I find it a little annoying too.

Yeah it's not sun fade as allot of people are assuming... I don't think about it a whole lot. But when I do it's a tad annoying.
