Default Am I the only one NOT to receive the Brake recall info?

Anyone else waiting for this info? My understanding is that the 2005 RX is included in this.

Not all 05's. You are lucky that yours is not.

I decided just to call Lexus and they told me that they are staggaring the notifications going out because they don't have enough parts available to have sent the letters out all at once.

She did confirm that my car was one so affected, and as per the attached press release, it doesn't specify certain 2005 RX's, but seemingly all 2004-06 Highlanders and RX330's. Said it had something to do with the VIN's as to when you got notified.

Ok that makes sense. I received the notice via mail like 2 weeks ago, I better call in for an appointment.

This is consistent with what I was told at my local Toyota dealership regarding my '05 Highlander. We have received no notification although I know my VIN is affected. While in there last week I asked what the deal was and the SA told me they now have parts and I could bring it in anytime whether I had received a notification or not.

thanks fellas - good to know!

Is this a safety issue piece or just something for longevity? Our RX hit 90k miles and probably due for a service soon too.
