I got a Duralast Gold a few years back and have been very happy with it.

Just remember about the need to reset your power windows and sunroof. Or, make sure to ask Autozone about plugging in an alternate source of power to keep your settings while the battery is being swapped.

As an aside to RX330inFL's post above....
I have a device I picked up at an auto parts store some years ago but never have used. It's a 9 volt battery wired to a cigarette lighter plug. You plug it into your cigarette lighter receptacle while you're switching out your battery. It's supposed to provide enough current to maintain the settings for your radio, windows, and moon-roof.
Have any forum members used a device such as this and if so what kind of luck did you have on maintaining your pre-sets?

If I am not mistaken, Kirkland-Costco brand and Duralast (maybe Duragold, one that Advance Auto carries) are one and the same, made by Johnson Controls.

I will admit I am too lazy to go through this entire thread and read everyone's post. I bought a WalMart *Will it Everstart'? Battery in 2009 ONLY BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS BATTERY DIED OF SUDDEN BATTERY DEATH SYNDROME right in the parking lot of WalMart.
Three years.
That pile of ^&%*^& died in three short years.
I refuse to buy another battery for this car from them.

Costco battery for the lexus replacement has higher cold cranking power and a warranty that is not pro rated during the life of the warranty. if you don't have a membership, and you will save enough on the first visit to pay for one, then find a friend who has one and get the Costco battery, and no I don't work for them,.
