Air Filter A DIY Job?
It is easy to replace the air filter? And if so, what filter should I buy and where to get it?
I was reading the manual for my 2006 RX330 and the 30,000 service is really nothing more than the usual oil change but with brake fluid changed (done with new pads a few months ago) and an air filter change. I figured I'd buy a good filter and DIY with some help here!

Take your time with the bolts. They are a PITA, but once you have done it, your 2nd will be a breeze.

My air box is jammed in there tight. It hits the bracket making it hard to lift the cover and put it back. I am sure later on they did something about it. Sure is a PITA.

Where is filter inside or outside of the cabin?
When I was changing the spark plugs, I don't remember seeing filter when I was removed wiper mechanism tray.
Edit: Sorry I got my answer use a search button.

Definitely a breeze to change air filter after removing the screws at the 6 & 12 o clock position, the screws should not come out, when you install the new filter, make sure the cover goes in first at the 9 0 clock position then you are in business.

2004 RX330 Engine Air Filter
I figured I would post this here rather than creating a new thread. I just installed a new engine air filter, but the left side of the filter box does not seem flush. You can see in one of the pictures below the white plastic filter housing. The right side of the box seems aligned perfectly. Thoughts?

cabin filter change takes 30 seconds....No i'm not kidding. 30 seconds.
lemme know if you need a video and i'll throw one together soon. Also, which air filter is the best for city environments? I would get a K&N but in hong kong those things would be hard to maintain. I would much rather get disposable and keep changing every 3 - 4 months (yes, its filthy here).
