Plus if your dealer has a good reconditioning dept. They can most likely get that stain out. With an extractor, and the right chemicals.

I use Spot Shot at home for dog stains, the stain is gone but now I have clean carpet marks where the spot was and dirty carpet around it. LOL

Meguiars APC+ What is this and do Auto BM stores have these?
Meguiares All Purpose Cleaner. Many online detailing suppliers carry it, but I'm not sure what local brick and mortars do.

Otherwise, you might just have to take it to a good detailer and have it steam cleaned.

Good luck
Tried this one a a few of this type, gatorade wins. Thanks.

Thanks!
Walmart and Target should carry Folex. I usually do multiple applications. Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner + is a professional grade cleaner sold by some vendors here. Proper Auto Care is one of them

Found "resolve" and used it 3x and gatorade won. It took out less than 10% of the stain.

I feel your pain, I spilled a Cherry Limeade from Sonic in our RX a few years ago. I tried Folex, Resolve, SpotShot, etc .... nothing got it out. I plan to take it to a detailer and have the interior steam cleaned, I just haven't gotten around to it. The Limeade also spilled onto the speaker grille. I need to remove the door panel to clean that area .. it was a bad day for the RX!

It was painful to see that stain. The wife was so pissed (at herself for bringing the gatorade from the 1st place) that she was ready to take it to the detailer the day of the accident after she tried everything in the house to remove the stain.

When she said "I spilled gatorage in the car," my 1st reaction was, ***** the leather seats are toast! So when I heard it was the carpet, a sigh of relief. And then I looked at the damage...***** was extensive. The stain was on the carpet on both sides of the all weather mat.

To this day when I get in I sneak a look all the time and get pissed.

Gotta get rid of it.

Before the stain sets in. how about a just washing the carpet with water and soap. You need to rinse it out pretty good. I have even thrown them in the washer.

No experience with gatoraid though.

This is not the carpet mat. It is the carpet carpet. I have an all weather mat. Unfortunately I can not rip it and dump on the washer.

take it to your dealer,go to the reconditioning dept. and let them take a look at it. if their recon.dept is any good, they will be able to get it out.
