Hello,i got new denso ones,could be deffecive .

sorry,i mean can these sensors be deffective from factory or transport/storage.

i did replace B1S1 with denso part,the check engine light went away but the car was acting up as if it is hungry for gas,took it to the dealer and they said it is B1S1 needs to be replased

did you reset the ecm after replacement? what year is your RX ?

yes,i disconnected the battery for one hour,i think i have to go to advance auto to reset with the code reader

Not really likely unless you dropped it or hurt it with the wrench. Maybe the connector is not seated well? Are you sure you replaced the right one? There are two of them in the engine compartment.

bank 1 sensor 1 is the one near the firewall
