Need to get your tires/wheels and suspension checked out.

Imbalanced tires/wheels. <-- most common cause
Bent wheels (as you stated)
Shifted belts on tire(s)
Loose tie rod(s)

at lower speed the most probable cause is tie rods got worn out. At higher speed is a lot factor, wheels, tires, suspension's components, alignment.

normally when the wheels are out of balance the whole vehicle will shake, and when you have a broken belt in the front tires the steering wheel will shake.

also, if the shake only happens when you are braking, you need to resurface the front rotors or replace them.

I Lexus having major problem with steering wheel but neighter Lexus nor Dealer accept that as major problem. They waited until everything blow out of control like Toyota. I like to see this coming because I am one of the client having problem with steering. Steering stuck/hesitated to return straight.

wait and see guy.

I can understand your frustration as you are not getting a cure.

I would suggest trying another dealer. Typically it is a tire or wheel issue. If you were here, I would gladly offer to put my all 4 on your RX to test out. You can test a bit on your own by swapping the front to back.

Please give us more info on shake condition:
Braking or not?
Is the shake speed dependent and at what speed is it max.

The bend in the rim (alloys typically dont bend easy) can be detected by a gauge.

Hidden defects in the tire are only proven when you replace them. This is where you might be, but one has to eliminate all other reasons before you opt for it. People who have gone through the aggravation may suggest this as the first option. [see other threads on shaking]

Salim

PS: Dont hold your breath for the recall, it may not affect your model/vehicle. S.

Default Rear wheel bearing

Possibly the rear wheel bearing. In my case it was. I changed both side.
Sometime you cant here noise comming from the back. It`s a lexus !
Go to a chop and tell to check the rear end (Not yours) .
It look like a lot of lexus have wheel bearing problem.

Hope ...
