Default 04 RX330 Sport

I'm a newbie to this forum in terms of posting, but I have been reading up quite frequently. I have just bought a second hand RX330 Sport model with 80K miles (130Km) for the wife and love how it drives. I never knew that the RX comes in a "sport" model which comes with air suspension, 18' rims and a few other toys. Does anyone have any bad or good experiences with the sport model?

OttawaLex, welcome to CL.

I had my '04 with performance package for 6+ years. No issues during that time with the air suspension or AFS headlights. Rims were sweet. I loved the downshifting ability. Came in handy during a few snowstorms. Now it's standard on the 3rd gen. Good luck with yours.

Thanks Anita...I have been driving my IS300 for 4 years now, and come from a Lexus loyal family. I typically like to purchase newer models , but this one was completely dealer serviced, and I just really liked the sport model. Only thing is im coming up to the 90K miles service, so gotta get ready for that service.

Default Wow, we must be long lost siblings in a parallel universe.

You're in Ottawa, I'm in Edmonton (used to live in Ottawa though (Hunt Club Park))
You bought a 04 RX 330 with 80K miles for your wife all dealer serviced. I am just in the middle of buying a 05 RX 330 with 80K miles for my wife all dealer serviced up (gotta go to Idaho to retrieve it yet).
You come with good Lexus instincts with an IS. My other car is an 04 SC430.

I doubt mine has air suspension, but who knows. I haven't seen it yet. :-)

Welcome Brother!

OttawaLex, can't help you on the service. I barely broke 50k before I traded the '04 in. All service done by the dealer too. I hope whoever bought, and it was CPO, is happy. I think you'll get many miles of enjoyment out of your RX. Now it's time to post some pictures
