I recently purchased a 2005 RX330 with 49K mi and the navigation package (and almost all the other available options). Coming from a 2004 Ford Taurus, I feel like I'm in driving heaven. The technology on the RX330 can be a bit overwhelming at first, however.

Does anyone know how to transfer contacts from an iphone to the RX330 phonebook using the bluetooth connection? I'm able to pair the iphone with the vehicle bluetooth and use the handsfree dialing and answering features of the navigation system for incoming and outgoing calls.

I've gone into the handsfree settings menu to transfer contacts, but when I push the "Transfer" on the handsfree touch screen to begin transferring the contacts I get a screen that says "transfer contacts from phone" but no "transfer in progress" message as the owner's manual indicates I should see. After a few minutes I get a message "Transfer failed".
