Seems like failures are way to early for such a modern car. I just replaced the B2S2 on my 96 accord V6 at 214,000 miles and it was just the heater that went out of the sensor but you get the CEL and I needed smog test. The part was $290 plus tax and a loaner deep 02 sensor socket from auto zone 15 min to change.

I had mine replaced in the 30Kish range. It failed right after I had my RX serviced. Check engine light came on just as I turned on to my street some 30 miles away from the dealer It was replaced under warranty but I had to make two extra round trips. It happened on my 300 too, also under warranty.

Perhaps this makes my point from the other day. The tech may have gotten sloppy and dripped oil on the sensor.

x2, I think sloppy mechanics may be making the sensors go bad before their expected life.
