$390 for 15,000 mile service
This included 59.95 for detail. Is this correct? Driver forgot to leave invoice when he dropped off my vehicle. Called them and this is what price they gave me. Sounds high. They will mail me copy. What could they do that would cost this much on a 15,000 mile service call? Wow.

If I`m not mistaken,I think it`s mostly a check this, and check that. Top off here and their etc. When I took off that stupid cover over the power steering pump area,my fluid was low,and never even looked like it was touched under their.

That said, 15k seems REALLY early to swap it out, as this is the type of fluid that many manufacturers are now claiming (erroneously, I believe) will last the life of the vehidle.

If so, then the service is worth whatever they charge. Diff fluid is EVIL--the most foul smelling, atrocious fluid ever to be found in a vehicle.

Sorry that's the most expensive oil change. They did nothing else. They should not do anything else. Read the 15K mile check up. The only thing would have been the air filter, if nothing else. And they detailed your car? They wash your car free from Lexus everytime you come in for something.
As long as you feel not cheated, then it should be OK. Live and learn.

I do not agree with the 15k service checkup for the prices they charge. I is simply an over priced oil change that is very profitable for the dealers. And the diff fluid is definitely not needed to be changed at 15K. Even if you tow with your vehicle it is simply too soon.

I expected a bill of less than 100 like the first two. I never asked because I felt it had to be done anyway. Like a fool. Never again.
But, when I get the invoice I will report back here to everything done on that vehicle. If they did things without my approval they will hear about it.

Gives you an idea of what type of a dealer you have, stay away from them! Not all dealers are created equal. Go find somebody who is worth your $!

Your stealership really screwed you !! Well , the owner has to make his boat payment, you and others like you let him laugh all the way to the bank !! Get another dealer, see what a Toyota dealer charges for a 15k service , good luck !

Don't go into a stealer and ask for X-mile service. They bundle all unnecessary maintenance items and charge you an arm and a leg. Always read the maintenance guide first and ask for the exact services you need. FWIW 15k miles service only requires oil change, air filter change, and tire rotation.
And if you can still drive then I would expect yourself capable of doing all the visual inspections...

I never thought not to trust them because I have been dealing with that same dealership for decades. They also do Toyota, the cars I owned before Lexus.
Never a problem. So I assumed that they would treat me right with my SUV.
Same ownership, about 12 or 14 different car brands. Very big dealership.
If this invoice is fishy I will go directly to Lexus with it. And it won't happen again,
Thanks for your answers.
