RX330 Volume will not go up
Hi all, I'll try and make this as short as possible
My friend just got his 2005 RX330 (came over from the Nantucket, MA ferry) back for the winter and for some reason the audio volume is not working. He has the 6 disc system, and the nav screen up above it. What happens is, the radio seems perfect, tunes and plays cds etc, except the volume is locked at 0. You turn the volume **** up and nothing happens (doesnt even change). Turn it down and the radio screen says Volume 0. Also, we can't adjust the audio settings (bass treb etc) The **** works because you can tune FM with it, but when you go to adjust sound options it just doesnt work?! Steering controls are the same way (volume up does nothing, volume down just brings up "volume 0")
I think speakers and amp are fine because the super annoying nav ladie is just as loud, clear, and annoying as she's always been, too bad she didnt die with the radio.
It was working back in Nantucket but for some odd reason it is not anymore. What do you guys think is wrong, and whats the best way to start?

If under warranty, take it in for a check up.

I just fixed it! After undoing an excessive amount of christmas tree clips behind the seat, I got access to the amp, unplugged it and re plugged it in but no avail. Put the carpet back together then... I went in the fuse box under the hood and pulled the 7.5A fuse for "TEL" and cleaned it up, put it back in and Audio is ALIVE. Phew

I am having radio and/or amplifier problem as decribes:
RX330 2004, the radio is the 6 disc system, and the nav screen up above it.
I have the mechanic checked the fuses and all fuses are working...Any one has any suggestion please? I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks
