Alenza's are rated good among RX users. Alenza's even if they are 235's are wider and comparable to 255's.

I have seen Yokohama's but have not heard reviews.

i have a totally unbiased opinion (i think) since i just bought my RX, drove it for 3 weeks with the michelins, then just switched over to the alenzas and put about 1000 miles on them.

the michelins were smooth, but i did find the squealing during even light cornering to be annoying. the alenzas grip the road very well, no squealing, but you do feel a little more of the road and you get just a little more road noise. i dont mind it, but if youre used to how smooth the michelins are, then you will notice it and it may take some time to adjust. it really depends on the condition of the roads youre driving on.

I found it. It's not clear that the Alenza is included, however (but it's not clear that it is NOT included either)

I got a coupon today in the mail from Firestone that seems to be what you are talking about. It says "All Dueler H/T lines for Highway Driving". But Firestone says that Alenza's are not that and not part of the deal. They want $987.25 out the door for 4 tires (including road hazard and other nuisance fees). I am sure I can do better, but not what you are talking about. I don't even need the tires but if I can buy them 3 for 1 and not pay for installation until I am ready, I'd consider buying 4 in the $500 to $550 range.

Are you SURE Alenza's are included. And maybe you can give your dealer's anme...perhaps it's an area thing and they can ship them to me.

Thanks. Perhaps it's a regional deal.

My 05 got 44000 miles from the OEM Michelins and we switched to Alenzas based on online opinions. I couldn't be happier with them. They ride well, are fairly quiet, no unusual road noise (road noise? You want road noise? Try the Continental run-flat tires on my BMW), and generally are a very nice tire. I only have about 5000 on them but I would buy them again. The Michelins were good (not great - just good compared to the Alenzas) but replacing them was more expensive and they didn't have a mileage warranty whereas the Alenzas do.
