Default New tires that WON'T Squeel!

Any recommendation for a tire that won't squeal when I go around a corner quickly?

The stock Michelins are horrible when it comes to this regard.

Part of the squeal comes from under inflated tires. Increase the psi a few pounds over recommended and it will decrease squeal and increase mpg until you get new tires.

I'm running Michelin MVX's with about 30k miles on them now, no squeals, and I am not a gentle driver, wore out the OEM Goodyears in 16k. Have the Michelins at 34 PSI on all four corners. You may want to try airing yours up a bit.

You bought an SUV based on a Camry. What did you expect?

As mentioned above, you could get some summer performance rubber which won't squeal much if at all, but it's kind of ridiculous to run them on an RX.

Hey! The extreme performance summer tires I'm getting are $50 cheaper than the crap stock tires and they are better in the rain. They also last 30k plus miles!

Is that silly for Floridans and other warm weather states? I think not!

i have only tried two brands on my car so i can only compare the two.

the Goodyear RSAs are horrible in terms of miles, and ran out on my (both sets of 4) at 30K miles each.

the Michelines are now on 33K miles and the tread still looks good.

in terms of handling, it was the goodyears all the way in what you are looking for. minimal tires squeal compared to the michelines.
