My 2008 RZX 350 has a rattle that drives my wife crazy. Been to dealer twice - say they "fixed it" but even an hour later the rear lift door rattles even with locks correctly in place. Dealer says it's a design flaw. Anyone else with similar issues?

When you start hearing that it is a design flaw...beware. They are in fact offering an excuse.

All issues for the RX have been defined. And fixes for them have been given through TSB's. There's not much that you can find wrong that we have not heard in this forum. Hence we are always on the look out for new issues....

Please be patient and take them back to the dealer. Or else find another dealer who will actually solve the problem, instead of telling you excuses. You are the customer and deserve the satisfaction you want.

Do you have the tonneau cover in place or is it disconnected. If the latter, try putting the release latches, for the tonneau, in the lock position (towards the front of the vehicle). Hope this helps.

for what it's worth, CDN Lexus tip above is what we had to do a while back. we were lucky maybe.
