Can anyone tell me where to find the physical location of the amplifier for my 2004 model? I think I have a short and only the left front speaker is currently working. I get hissing/popping out of the other speakers when adjusting the volume control when the car is cold. My Dealer said it was a Pioneer Amp. somewhere under the rear seat?

Any help would be appreciated or others that have had the same problem.

the amp should be in the back of the right rear seats. If you tilt the seat and move it forward, you should see this black cage; inside will be your amp (white box).

Thanks FUD! I will check that location. Do you think I will need to remove the seat to get to it? Any sources for after-market replacement?

No need to remove the seats, but if you are a larger person with bigger hands it might make it easier, but still not needed. Just slide the rear seats all the way forward. Remove the carpeted cardboard hatch floor piece. Remove the floor carpet edge that is mounted to that black metal cage. The amp should be easily accessible from the front now. I thought my amp was black though.
