Help on installing hitch on RX 330 with air suspension
Has anyone installed the Lexus hitch on a model with the air suspension?
Step E has a note that says (in all caps): FOR VEHICLES WITHOUT AIR SUSPENSION OPTION ONLY. (My installation printout is Issue F 02/07/05)
However, there's no alternative instructions for vehicles WITH air suspension like my 2004 330 with the Sport Package. Is it dangerous to continue installing the hitch as if my 330 does not have air suspension?
Similar instructions to this one: http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/imp.../RX330_TOW.PDF
Thanks.

hmm interesting...
i have a 2004 with the performance package as well with the air suspension and i have a factory hitch installed by lexus so i really dont know what they did.
if i were you i would start up the car, drive around the block so the car raises out of "getting out" position. then under the steering column, there is a button specifically to stop the car from adjusting suspenion if you are towing, so id push that button. then i would push the button that tells it not to lower even more upon turning off the key.
then id assume its safe to hook it up.
