Great News !!!!!!
I was going to trade the RX for a Benz, or BMW. I contacted Lexus for one last time regarding the rash of issues with my RX and a wonderful thing happened!
Lexus gave me an 08 RX350 even exchange (brand New 9 MILES) same options as my Junkxus. I can not release the details, as that is part of the deal, but I will say that it cost me nothing!!! They are also installing the sound matting I had done to the lemon on the new one. The new RX now has 353 miles on it and what a difference. No noise, no oil leak, just a pleasure to drive. If this RX holds up well I will become a repeat buyer.

. I have high confidence in Lexus Corporate service! Anyway when you are happy on how all these fiascos are going to end, will you by any chance consider changing your nickname from 'JUNKXUS' to something less negative? I.e Goodxus, NotJunkXus, HappyXus, Satisfiedxus etc?

Car performance problem
I do not know where should I post the question and therefore put it here.
I have a RX350 with 12000 miles and noticed most recently the lounder engine sound (not noise) than before. A few days ago, I traveled for 1500 miles (use 93 octan) and noticed that it was harder for me to accelarate uphills when compared to what I did 2 months ago. In fact, my 2000 Honda Accord (4 C) is better than the RX climing uphills. In addition to the above problem, the RX shake/vibrate at the speed >= 75 MPH. I did enjoyed driving the car on freeways before but not this time.
I am not sure what is wrong with it. The wife used 87 Octan for the car (2 tanks) before the trip (she is not a car guru and I forget to tell her 93 is required).
Does the 87 octan (2 tanks) cause the promblem or whatelse?
