New Body Style For RX

Are there any photos/videos of this new body style that have been "leaked" out onto the internet? If not, can anyone that knows of this new style describe it to us?

Lexus is very very secretive and they do a very very good job if they dont want people to know. Notice how the only spy shots that were available from lexus were the IS-F which they probably wanted the press to know about.
You wont see any pictures, just drawings of what people think it it will look like. I think, if it follows the trends now and with the L-Finesse, it will look like a raised sedan with it being more sleek. Look for the cues from the LX570 and probably an interior like it as well, close to the LS460

They will likely have the first pics as they become available.

I would expect it to look very close to this.

Very much like a MAzda CX7/9. That is the trend anyway.

There is no such thing as a "spy photo."
Those "spy shots" are always from the manufacturer "leaked" to "sources" at auto mags, etc.
Nothing with respect to future designs comes out that the manufacturer does not want to come out. There is too much at stake.

BMW will have an X6, whihc will be a high performance X5 that has the angles of a 6 series so they decided to call it an X6.
I think BMW and Lexus are too late to an already crowded game. The sport x-over market.

On a positive note, the headlamps look cool, and I suspect that the steering wheel in oneof the photos is a long way away from being production ready.

The Car Connection usually has the latest spy shots. Google is solid as well.
Personally, I never get excited with renderings... they're conceptions of what artists want the car to look like...

Here is a spy photo of the next RX
It's larger, has bigger wheels, and looks like it can easily fit a third row. Style appears to be very similar in the rear.

Terrible.
If the new RX is going to be that big, I'm glad I got my '04.
I like the size of it a lot, because I don't need a third row seat. A friend just got a Toyota Highlander, which is the same frame as the RX, but the roof at the back is square, which allows for a (not very wide) third seat to fold up from the floor, where the RX has that nice storage bin for tools, jumper cables, etc. There is no leg room to speak of, and not much head room, and of course no storage bin. If I wanted 3 rows of seats I'd get a GX or something with some room back there.
I find the RX to be very roomy for 4, provide ample space for carring stuff with the back seat folded down, and it's about 8 inches shorter than a Honda Accord.
I have read several reports that the new RX will come in a standard size with two rows of seats and an stretched version with a third seat for those that need it, but who don't want a giant GX. This seems like the most realistic move for Lexus to make, as I think an enormous part of the appeal of the RX is that it's not a giant land yacht.
