And you held the switch in the up position for a couple of seconds after the window closed? This is what normalizes the closed position.

I installed four Weathertech deflectors on my '07 RX350 this afternoon.

Every window slightly touches its deflector on the way up, but using the one-touch close button only the driver's window reverses when the window gets to the top. I re-initalized it using the manual's instructions (and a post in this thread). Now it reverses sooner - as soon as it touches the bottom edge of the deflector. Wonderful.

I suppose I can file off the area of the deflectors where the window hits them, but I'd like to restore the operation of the driver's automatic close feature.

BTW - The deflectors look a lot better without the Weathertech ad.

On a side note, I hate how the driver window switch has to advertise "full auto". It looks so cheesy. I know how to operate my vehicle, I don't need a sign to remind me. Maybe I can go scrape it off!!!

Adam, surely you can tell the difference between commercial and informational signage.

Incidentally, the driver's window switches neither advertise nor display much of anything other than a white dot. The plate on the driver's armrest indicates that the four window switches are "ALL AUTO" not full auto. But you might want to scrape it off anyway.
