One Window Switch Doesn't Work
Before I bring my 330 into the dealer, I wanted to make sure this is not something I can fix myself...
From the driver's bank of window switches on the door, they all work except for the switch for the front passenger's window. However, the window works from the switch on that passenger's door.
I tried locking and unlocking the windows, etc. to no avail.
Is there something I can check? A fuse or something? I really don't think it's a fuse, since the other windows on this bank of switches work, and because the passenger's switch works (or could it be a fuse?)

if the window goes up and down on one side or group then its not the fuse. funny you should mention that cuz last week the rear passenger window on the driver side would not go up or down using the switch from the drivers seat. i was on the phone calling my local dealer to setup an appointment to fix it when i rolled the window up and down from that postion and kept doing that..i then got back in the drivers seat and then the window just started working again. the dealer said that it could either be a switch or a bad motor (before i fixed the problem myself). the one thing that made me worry is that when i mentioned the problem to the service advisor he knew right away what could be wrong and exactly how much it qwould cost to either replace the motor or swtich.

If you loose power or disconnect the battery you will loose the use of the drivers window button and the sun roof auto open and close.
The way to fix the door windows is go to each door and use the power down button till the window is all the way down, then power it up from the same door button and hold it there for a few seconds. Now it will work from the drivers window button. You have to do this procedure for each door to reset it.
The sun roof is the same but takes a little longer. You have to open and close the sun roof but when it closes you have to hold the button on and the sun roof will cycle through another open and close by itself as long as you hold the button on. When its finished the second close it will be resetto auot open and close.
Sometimes the back power door is also effected and you open the back door manually and then power it closed to reset....I think this is the drill I wasn't watching that close when the dealer did the back door.
Hope this helps

This is what I like in our forums...saves time and the aggravation of going to go to the dealer....to find out that you know more than the service advisor is a bummer....

I forgot to follow-up on this (I asked the original question). I did do the "power the window down, power it up, hold for five seconds" thing and now the window is fully operational from the driver's control panel.
