Rx 400h - music via Bluetooth from iPhone?
Hi guys, do you know if I can play music (Youtube, Spotify etc.) from iPhone via Bluetooth in my car? Rx 400, year 2008.
Because I can easily play Voice Memos from iPhone via Bluetooth. So it should be also possible to play music?! Thanks.

I believe the version of Bluetooth in the 2nd-gen RX -- 2.x? -- is too old. We can stream very basic, single-channel audio (such as phone calls or voice memos) from phone through the head unit, but support for stereo audio/music streaming, known as A2DP, came about with a somewhat later version of Bluetooth (4.0, I believe -- the industry is now on 5.x).
This is partly why many of us have upgraded our head units to Apple Carplay-compatible (or Android Auto) systems. My own choice was the Pioneer MVH-2400NEX.
