Replace front parking lights - '05 330
I put my parking lights on and the LF one does not work. I can see the connector at the back end of the light casing but I cannot get enough force with my finger tips to remove it. Any tips or hints on this? I assume that this is just the usual twist 90 degrees and pull out type of socket? This is an '05 330 and the bulb in question is at the top of the headlight cluster and shines down from the 12 o'clock position. It comes on when the parking lights are turned on.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Since no one has EVER done this, I finally took a pair of long needle nose pliers and the offending light bulb socket came out with only a little bit of persuasion. It takes a #168 bulb btw.

Did you buy your part at the dealer or after market?
Thanks.

i replaced mine with white LEDs looks much better that cost $2 for 10 on ebay (use the rest to replace license plate light + door puddle light). As for replacing them, it's pretty self explanitory, twist and pull out, then just pull the wedge style bulb out.

Do you need to add special resistors so that the 'burnt bulb' warning light does not come on?

Thanks. I found GE long life for C$3 at Canadian Tire. Dealer wanted $60 + 13% for replacing the two bulbs. I should start a company just for changing light bulbs. I'll charge $30 + 13%.
