Default Base stereo in the 350

Hi, how is the base stereo in the 350? The stereo system is a pretty important component for me so just wondering if it will be worth it to order (and wait) for the ML stereo or if the standard is ok.
If I go with a standard does anyone have any recommendations for improving it?

Thanks again!

I think you really have to listen to it yourself. The ML in the RX is not like the M in the GS/LS where it makes a huge differences. The ML in the RX surely is better, but personally I don't think it is worth it. If you can afford it I'd still get it though because it is better than the base, although the base is not that bad. The base is just nothing special. The only way I say don't get the ML is if you really will do an entire aftermarket system. IN my RX with base audio I redid everything but keep the stock speakers. I'm happy with it, but you have to be willing to change it all out including the head unit. If you are not willing to do that just get the ML.

If the stereo system is a pretty important component for you, then go with ML, you will not regret it. It is very impressive. The sound is rich and clear with just enough bass. The only thing it is missing is the fast farward button...

Note that ML doesn't add any radio features/buttons - it only changes the amp and adds speakers. For example, if the standard radio can't play MP3's (true before 2007), then the ML can't do it either. Both systems use the same head unit and disc changer.
