It funny that this morning I took a look at the rear of the connector and nothing is loosing everything is tight.

But, the headlight is ON normal like it never happen this morning; unlike last night flicking ON & OFF and then OFF then Flicking ON & OFF again. I don't know if the water can get in because I wash my RX350 on Thursday.

In June I have a shop replacing OEM Stock Bulb 3200K to same manufacture Phillips 5000K Bulbs everything working fine until last night it bizzare flicking. Again, I took a look this morning everything Seal Tight no connector lose what so ever. I will take it back either to the Dealer or local shop who replacing my Bulb.

I don't know if it the ballast begining to fail or the Bulb. Even my neighbor doesn't think it was the Bulb, because both of us looking at it, it was identical Phillip Bulb. OEM Mark with #32 and the new one Mark with #50.

Will see keep you post later this afternoon.

I went by the dealer today and make an appointment for Tuesday.

Sharpener, I am sorry, I missed stated, I meant an original out side box when I took at look at the Tulley BMW 3200K mark with #32 and 5000K mark with #50

Im going to bet its the bulb~

But I bet Lexus will replace the ballest anyway, cause they have no way of checking the bulb and the only thing that has changed is you Replacing That bulb and now the problems start......So Im thinking Bulb

I have not heard of anybodys ballest failing ever---but Im sure they do

I've seen several failed ballasts,a lot more than failed bulbs.

Densos are excellent ballasts, but if you soak any electrical device in water they usually fail. They're mounted in basically the lowest areas of the headlight housings, any moisture buildup will usually end up pooling in there.

Default Failed Ballast

hello everyone, like to update on this flickering passanger side headlight.

The tech guy stated Ballast has short out. They have Ballast tomorrow and I will be picking the RX after work.

How??? got the car less than two month the Ballast fail? talk about LEXUS and LUXURY QUALITY? I don't know what say.

Thanks

From what I can gather in your other posts, you replaced the factory bulbs because you wanted higher temperature rating bulbs. The headlights were working fine before correct?

And now one headlight is flickering a few months after you installed the bulbs? You probably compromised the seal after doing the bulb swap, some moisture got in the headlight, which then collected in the ballast.

I don't think there's any question about Lexus quality, you tampering with the headlights may have had something to do with the ballast failure.
