Hello All,
Finally joined the forum after owning our '07 RX350 AWD for two years.
For anyone who's thinking about a used RX, do it!!!! So far in the two years we've owned her, I've had two small issues (less than $500.00 parts and labour) and front brakes and tires (normal wear and tear).
Wish I'd thought of looking for forums when we bought the vehicle, because already I've fixed the "sunroof / power window issue", the "mirror" issue, as well as seeing things I've already found out about that would have saved me time when performing general maintenance (didn't know where the drain plug for the oil was my first oil change).
Previous vehicle was a 2002 Mercedes C230K Coupe (which was an enormous POS and I will never buy a Mercedes again because of the poor service and lack of customer service.
I am now (and will forever be) a Lexus owner.
Looking forward to my '98 Saturn finally dying (has 200,000 miles on it and just won't die), so I can pick up a GS450H and trade the RX in on a 400H or 450H. Would love a CT if my large dog could actually fit in the vehicle.

My 'new' RX330 is a 2006 which I've had since 2009, it was a program car. Love it mostly, but will go on about that in another thread. Has 41K miles on it and looks brand new. It's my first Lexus and hope not my last.

Bought my wife a Crystal White Pearl 2008 RX350 w/tan interior with 98,241 miles on it for Christmas. We were looking at a 2008 RAV4 Limited with 50,000 miles, but she has always loved the RX Lexus so I thought I would look around and test drive the RAV4 and a RX350 back to back. As you may know the 2008 RAV4 is available with the 3.5 V6 and it is a rocket ship, but after we test dorve this 2008 RX 350 with almost twice the mileage there was simply no comparison. The Lexus is so smooth and all the switch gear feels just right. When my wife put it in reverse and saw the back-up camera the decision was over. I'm a car guy and own 3 other Toyota based vehicles so I crawled all over this RX 350 (about 6 hours total) and believe it or not had to top off the coolant (bottle was dry), and power steering fluid (Dextron).... then fixed the tire warning light on the dash (thanks to this forum), found a screw in one of the tires and went over the motor and chassis carefully. Didn't see anything that scared me if I could get it for the right price (under $20K out the door). My wife loves this car..... and I will too after I replace the rubber oil pipes with all metal. Going to do the VVTi and the Oil Cooler pipes with alittle help from this forum. Then I feel this beautiful RX 350 will be good for the long haul. I want to thank all the contributors to the forum and Sewell Parts for the awesome discounted parts. The only accessories added so far are the WeatherTech Floorliners. I recommend these to any RX owner. Fit like a glove. (Sorry for the long post its my first)

Proud New Owner of a 2008!
We just bought our 2008 RX 350 with 36,000 miles! It has navi, back up camera and bluetooth. We found out that it came with an extended warranty through 2015! It's in mint condition! It's crystal white, fully maintained by the Lexus dealership in Houston. We live in Dallas and bought it through a private party sale. We flew down to Houston, and drove it home that day! It was the car I've wanted for quite some time and I'm so excited that I finally own one! My only disappointment is that I don't have auxiliary audio input, but I plan on having that done for Mother's Day through a third party.

Just got a 2008 RX 350 for my wife. She had a 2007 Mazda CX-7 which was fun to drive but it's falling apart (that will be my last Mazda). I won't bore you another picture of a bamboo mist/ivory. She had to have the Nav w/ backup camera. I think it's a premium plus w/ tow package. Will be using a DIY thread shortly to do the brakes and front rotors.

2009 RX 350 - Crystal White Mica
Hello All,
I just bought my 350 in January. I have always wanted an RX since I was in high school. I previously drove a 1998 BMW Z3. That was a fun car, but honestly, my RX is the real "ultimate driving machine". Bought the RX here in Sacramento, CA for $23k. Everything is spotless. The only thing I wasn't excited about was that it had 90k miles as it was a commuter. Having that said, I have had no other issues with the car.

I am planning to purchase 2004 RX330 (39k miles, one owner) for my wife next week from one of my closes' friend. It will be my first experience with Lexus brand though I had couples of Toyota and Honda/Acura. I am not super-crazy about DVD/navigation entertainment but the vehicle does not have built-in nav. which I plan to have an aftermarket one. The overall condition is pretty good except minor scratch and little foggy head-lamps. I believe that this RX330 will be good enough to sell my Acura TL.

Just bought yesterday 2009 RX 350 70K Crystal White Mica came with week old New 18 Inch Goodyear RSA Eagles and weathertek floor mats. no leak, one owner seems body good shape, tight, quite, getting very good mpg so far.
I have a 1996 LX 450 over 250K miles I have had since Dec. 1996. So I have experience with it and what to look for etc. CL has been great for years for me with it.
Anything I need to pay attention to on the RX 350 model? things to look our for or items that have been problems for the 2009. I understand there may have been some engine issues in 2007 & 2008 when the version went from the reliable 3.3 to the 3.5 L have those been reloved or is there anything I need just to keep an eye on.
I would appreicate any feedback as I want to keep running so I can give to my daughter as I did the LX 450?
