2009 RX-350 with 87K miles
Hi,
Bought a FWD 2009 RX-350 with 87K miles just before Christmas. Got it for under $20K. Has all options except for air-suspension, overhead DVD system and the expanded moonrof. It is black on black. Attached is a picture. Love the car thus far. The HID with AFS headlights are great and so is the bluetooth system. Best sound quality for a hands-free system in my experience thus far! It has the Ipod kit which also works nicely.
Hope it turns out as reliable as my 98 camry which is at 225K miles! My previous cars were: Volvo 240 , Acura Integra , Toyota Supra , Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry.

lynch nice find looks like you got a really good deal as well. May I ask where you picked it up from? Maybe I need to buy my next car if they are giving those types of deals

2009 rx 350
I got it from ebay sight unseen (except for the photos) from a seller in TX. The normal caveats when buying from ebay applied: research the seller, make sure that the car has a carfax or autocheck report, request a service history etc.

I have a 2008 RX 350 - white - all features except DVD - previously drove a 2005 Maxima until the transmission started acting up. I think I will be a Lexus customer for life.
Still driving good and I drive a lot of miles in my commute. No issues thus far and I recently hit 100,000.

Greetings,
I recently purchased a 2007 RX 350. It is breakwater blue metallic and it came with the premium package. It does not have a navigation system and has the XM option. The previous owner installed an aftermarket XM radio. This is my first Lexus and for the first time, I am excited with owning a car. My husband says that I finally get it! I have spent hours looking at the Lexus forum for information.
I tend to keep cars for long time. I owned a Ford E250, Town and Country and Toyota prior to the Lexus.

Hi Cyn, welcome to the forum! Since you tend to keep them you might want to add nav/bt. at some point. It isn't difficult on your car, parts are available that will make it look factory. Click the Kenwood link in my sig for how the installation looks.

Hmmmm........Someone has given you some bad information. I've got a 2008 RX350, Chrystal White, made in Japan ( VIN is JTJ..... ) and it's not a Hybrid. Maybe they meant, if it's Brandywine it was made in Japan. That said, Brandywine is definitely the best looking color, I wish I could have found one locally when I bought ours.

New (2007) RX350 - my first Lexus, and an Ipod question
New car for my wife and I, 28,000 miles with a 6 year warranty stacked on end of the dealer 3 year. Champaigne silver with a pearl leather interor and Nav.
Just had our first road trip, 180 miles almost all freeway 62-74 mph, and the gas needle just ticked under half. Is that 10 gallons? only 18 mpg? sigh
But, I want to intergrate my Ipod. Had an Isimple installed but for me no playlist text so I sent it back. Has anyone tried this $360 unit from Neo car audio? It gives artwork, and seems pretty sweet if not a bit spendy. But I'm in it for the long haul. so I can amortize the cost over at least 10 years

Nice group.
I have previously driven a 51 Chevy sedan, a 54 Volkswagen couple and a 66 Volkswagon sedan, a 63 Chevy Malibu, a 45 CJ Jeep, a 72 Malibu wagon, a 1966 Vanden Plas 4 Litre R, a 46 Ford 1/2 ton pickup, a few Chryster New Yorkers and Newports, a Chevy Astro van and most recently, a 98 Toyota Sienna wagon. I come from a car rich heritage.

Also, what octane fuel are you running? Premium will give you the best performance and mileage, especially in a 2nd Generation RX350.

I'm between 23 to 25 MPG with an '04 on the highway. Some premium gas does not contain Ethanol and that helps the mileage. I have a station near me that one set of pumps is marked "Contains Ethanol" and one set that the premium is marked "Dose not contain Ethanol".

Just Picked Up a 2009 RX350 AWD
Classic Silver Metallic
47,500 Miles
Navigation/Bluetooth/Backup Camera
We traded in my 2006 Trailblazer EXT on this, for my wife to drive. Sadly, that leaves me with the 2008 Sienna to drive until I find something I like better.
Getting 17-18 MPG on this first tank so far. Not much better than my Trailblazer...
I took it to the dealership yesterday for a "once-over" and to get a clean bill of health. I have to say I was blown away by the difference between Lexus service center and every GM, Toyota, and VW service department I have used. This is our first luxury brand vehicle, so this was a nice surprise. Of course, this was reflected in the pricing for service, but not by as much as I had anticipated.
Anyway, this site is a great resource. I've visited a few times in the past when helping my Father in Law work on his IS300. It's nice to actually be here as an owner.

Welcome to Club Lexus, BadBuzzCut.
With the AWD, that may be the MPG you will get. The RX350 likes to run best on premium fuel. Also, check your tire pressures.
As for servicing, for your oil changes and such you can use an independent shop or your local Toyota dealership without worries.
