Hey everyone. Picked up an '04 RX330 in Aug 2016, and so this post was long overdue. Previously had a 2010 HS250h that I bought CPO'd in Dec 2013. Currently has around 152500 miles. Had some 19" Highlander wheels mounted on 235/50R19 contiental 4x4 contacts.

A little late, but hey, who's counting the years anyway? My first Lexus was 2001 RX300 gray, leather, basics. Second (and current) is 2009 RX350 Bamboo green, which should more appropriately be referred to as "chameleon" as it changes colors depending on the brightness of the day! All options and it gets 21.4 mpg CITY - I couldn't be happier, though it WOULD be nice to have a set color. Pickup is unbelievable, just as with the 2001. When I open it up on the road, I am reminded why Lexus is respected! Will add pictures of both when I get time to go back through my pictures and find them.

This is my third LEXUS and have enjoyed them all;
1997 ES300 Given to Grandson
2006 RX400H Stolen
2008 RX400H Daily driver
1989 Jaguar XJ-S
I wish I had learned of this site years ago. It would have saved me time, money and grief.

Hello to everyone. Picked up a 2008 RX 350 premium package Bamboo pearl. Second owner traded it in after L/certified warranty was up for a new Mercedes. Previously driving a GMC 2003 Envoy SLT XL V8 with 210,000 miles on it big SUV 15 mpg mixed. No longer needed such a massive SUV with me and my 8 year old being the main riders older kids both have cars and are heading to college. My 8 year old loved the Envoy and wanted me to keep it, but that changed after her first ride in 350. Better gas mileage, very smooth quiet ride, only 20hp less than the Envoy V8, but over a 1,000 lbs lighter, great vehicle.

Sorry, but no. What you want to do is exactly opposite of the way every brand of car is designed to do. With the key in the ignition (car running or not) the doors will not lock.

1st Lexus - 1st Post
Just purchased a 2005 RX 330. Had been cross shopping Jeep Wranglers, WRX's and Foresters with stick shifts. Ended up with a Lexus SUV with wood paneling inside! Not sure what model I have exactly. I'm guessing the base model, but I haven't been able to find a good description of the trim levels online. It has a small sunroof and a stereo system with 6 disk changer and tape deck. No navigation, backup camera or Mark Levinson sound system. All of that is fine with me. Much swankier than even the nicest Forester from 2005. Plus it has 230 HP. Would be awesome with a manual transmission, but I'll deal with it. Has 125,000 miles on the clock. Has AWD. Paid 8000 for it. Think that was a fair price. Maybe too much for a base model? Dark gray color with light color leather inside. Very nice interiors! Has held up really well even though it is 11 years old. Dash isn't cracked, don't know if it was replaced or what. It we well taken care of. Will post pics eventually. Plan on tinting front windows to match the rears and replacing the head unit of the stereo with something more modern. Glad the AC controls aren't integrated like they were on my 2005 Subaru. Super crappy design that was.

Go to mylexus.com and sign up. You will need the VIN. One of the things you can do is see and/or download the service history for your car. A Lexus dealer will always enter everything they do. Any repair shop (not just Lexus) can enter info, including you. Very few places besides Lexus will do that, though.

"New" 2008 RX 350!
Hello,
Wife just bought a 2008 RX 350 silver, local, one owner car with 70,400 miles. Carfax said no accidents and Lexus dealer regularly serviced for the first 35,000 miles. Then no CARfax posts until new battery from Lexus in 2013. Just registered it with Lexus to update records. Bought from Honda dealer and had them replace drivers side headlight assembly with condensation at their expense. Car is immaculate, no dings, no rust, leather seats and trim perfect, dash mat, and carpets look new as they were covered with Weathertech. ATF, brake, etc. fluids seem to be recent. Runs perfect. No long trips yet but just around town 17 mpg. Discovered after we bought it that it has HID and AFS. Has 18 inch Toyo Ultra 900 tires and chrome wheels. We are very pleased.
Previous car traded for the 350 was a 2002 RX 300.
Sorry, I have not been able to download a picture. Download seemed to take forever.
