Tank size and how far

I'm not exactly sure, but if I were about to buy a new car in a few weeks, I would be stopping by the dealer to pick up one of the swell Lexus brochures. It has pages and pages of specs and pretty pictures, all of which encourage ownership and the purchase of options.
If the tank is the same in the h as in the 330 (or 350), then the answer to your question is 19.1 gal, (I think).
Your milegae, however, may vary, especially with the h, as driving around at low mph in the city uses very little gas compared to high speed highway driving which uses almost all gas and very little if any of the electric motors.

I'm pretty sure the tank size on the 330 is 19.1, but the tank is under the back seat, not way at the rear of the car, and the h has the batteries under the back seat, so it's quite possible that they made the tank smaller for the h to allow for battery room. I would not be surprised if those two cars had different size tanks, despite having so much else in common.
That's just a guess, but if anyone really needs to know, those are specs that are pretty easy to look up.

I can only speak for what we have in the UK,and it seems that the RX400h does have a slightly smaller tank than the non-hybrid RXs.
My RX400h has a petrol tank capacity of 66 Litres, whereas the RX300(yes,we've still only got the RX300!)has a capacity of 70 Litres.
As tfischer wrote, the smaller tank is there to accommodate the hybrid battery underneath the rear seat bench,AFAIK.

the hybrid has 2 gallons less than the RX330 (17.2 g vs. 19.2 g). the mileage you will get will vary from what others get based on your personal driving patterns. but real world reviews have pointed to about 24-25mpg combined hwy/city driving.
i get about 20mpg combined in my awd 330. because of the smaller fuel tank, the range on the hybrid doesn't exceed the regular 330 by much. i typically get around 320-330 miles per tank before filling.
my friend has had a 400h for about 2 1/2 months now and is averaging about 340-350 before the light comes on and it's time to refill. the fuel gauge is conservative in all lexuses, but in the hybrid running out of fuel is not a good thing for the engine (well it's not for any car, but in the hybrid it's a bit more complicated) so he tends to fill when the light comes on or earlier. you can do a search on that - there was some discussion on the hazards of running out of fuel on the hybrid vs. the gas RX.
hope that helps.

Tank U
GAS MILEAGE
Just returned fro 1500 trip & averaged 22.1 MPG. With e 19 gal. tank that figures to about 420 miles per tank.
I do use SYNTHETIC OIL & truely believe that increases mileage some.

That means tou could get 75-100 more miles(imperial?) once the fuel light comes on.
I wouldn't be brave enough to push it that far, though.

Like I mentioned in other MPG topics, we routinely get about 22 MPG on our 04 RX330, and about 20 MPG since I put on the oversided 20" rims and tires. Hawaii is too small to do long highway traveling, so I'm sure others in the mainland can get much better MPG than I do.

i think the most ive gotten out of a tank from my rx is about 385 miles so not quite 400, i kinda wish it held a couple more gallons making a total of like i think 20-21 gallons.

It all really boils down to where you live, driving habits & city/freeway.....For me, about 300 miles to a tank, unless I go see my sis & check on our V35, then its over 400 miles......
