you mean daytime running lights. Should keep them on or your regular headlights just for others to see you when traveling?

But if you dont want the lights just take the bulbs out is the easiest way I think.

I believe the Daytime-Running light is controlled by a fuse, which means, if you change that fuse to a regular fuse or just remove that fuse then now you don't have the functionality of DRL.

But... how can you get annoyed by your exterior light if you are inside your car driving?

I guess when you go to a drive in movie theatre... you might want to completed turn off DRL.
I am thinking about this issue the other day. Wonder if there's a easier way to turn it off without pulling a fuse in front all other patrons while keeping engine A/C running in the car.

I believe if you start the car up with the parking brake engaged, the DRL are off until you release the parking brake...

Aren't the DRLs the high beams with low wattage sent to them? If you pull the bulbs or fuse, no high beams. And where in the continental US is there a drive-in movie theatre, and why would anyone (other that high school kids ) want to go to one?

There's a drive-in theatre here just outside of Chicago.
I've had a good time whenever I've gone....

I was given an ES330 not too long ago as a loaner and it had an additional postion on the headlight switch "DRL off." No idea why the RX doesn't have this....
