I was pleasantly surprised to be offeed a discount on the rx400h by a regnonal dealer. Are others getting discoubts on the rx400h?

Not sure if they have a discount here in Miami. But I was picking up a part for my 300. And every other RX on the lot was a 400H. They dont seem to be selling.

You're right-05 RX330's seem to be in shorter supply as Lexus prepares the '06 RX330's. The dealer claims the RX400's sell fast but you can negotiate on the non reserved ones. I am glad we waited as we saved money and got a better color. I assume dealers don't like $50000 cars sitting on their lot and I guess future allotments depend on sales of their RX400's.

I saw a lease deal advertised for the RX400h the other day in south florida, forgot what it was, but was surprised to see em dealing so quick.... I bet JLM has 50 of em sitting on the lot.....

when I bought my RX330, they had 300 in stock!

Ultra63...my brother purchased a 400h from a dealer in Dallas on 7/1. Got $1,000 off sticker and no dealer add-on charges. I contacted the dealer in LA you are referring to. He told me that he would not offer any more discounts after 6/30/2005. He offered me $1500 off if deal was closed on 6/30. Couldn't do that so we ended up with vehicle from Dallas

RX400h is not supposed to be niche vehicle.. It seems that Toyota wants around 30% of all RX's to be RX400h, and has already built up production so you will see many RX400's on the lot, thats the way it should be. It is supposed to sell on the level with new GS model, so thats a lot.

Dealers incentives will always be different from dealer to dealer, but as vehicle that will sell in >30,000 units per year, you will see dealer discounts... It is not special order vehicle!

I wish they send more production to Europe, as it is already sold out for a while...

In CA they are selling that all the dealerships are selling them as fast as they arrive...so if you get any sort of discount here in CA, it's because you bought a demo vehicle, or a repeat customer on a goodwill discount basis. In the other parts of the country, the demand is not as high...which is why you see discounts at those dealerships.
