Default Lexus wireless headphones

Has anyone had any issues with their wireless headphones failing out on them where even new batteries do not turn the headphones on? I have had this problem with both headphones in my vehicle but one of them "came back to life". I called Lexus and they are not really willing to do anything about it.

I have a 2008 RH 400h Ultra Premium.

Has anyone else had a similiar experience with their headphones and what could be the potential cause of this issue?

Thanks.

... on another note what can I do about these non-working but perfect condition headphones? Is the garbage the only option for them or is there a way to troubleshoot and revive them? Now both my headphones are non-functional.
