I am wanting to purchase a '04 RX330 in Flint Mica with Grey Leather Interior, AWD, Navigation, and Premium Plus Package for my wife. NO RSES.
My local dealer (Valencia, CA) is telling me there is none in the US. I dont see how this is possible, especially since they havn't started shipping the '05's yet. I think they are just tryong to get me to purchase what they have on their lot.
Is there anyway for me try and locate one? Does anyone know where I might be able to get this car? Any Dealers out there that can help me locate one?

Your best chance is to call all Lexus dealers near you. The dealer would only look up its own inventory and its own affiliates'. (Some companies own several Lexus dealership in the same area.)

For example, I wanted a white RX300 with navigation and asked the dealer to do a search. The dealer told me there's none and I had to special order from Japan and wait 3-4 months. I found the white RX300 with navi in another dealership 30 miles away. Bought it and drove it home.

I contacted CARSDIRECT, and they said they can locate one for me. Anyone use them before to buy a car?

Lexus Dealers are dealers and will try to sell what they have in stock. Many won't try hard to find one with the color combo your looking for, they hope you settle for whats on the lot.

Hmmm, maybe call Lexus customer service and see if they would locate?

I also have been looking for the Flint/Mica and have had no success. I really do not think there are any around we had a dealership in cerritos call us and they have a used 04 Flint with everything you described for 37,000 with 9500 miles. I think that is the closest you'll get to a Flint before the 05 come in. The 05 will be at some dealerships on the 7th of September.... I also live in Cali in Northridge.....

CarsDirect located my car. It is at the Port in LongBeach going through customs. It has my name on it. I take delivery on/around 9-8-04.
It is an '04 with everything I want.
I got lucky.

what kind of deal did you get? I'm still trying to find a flint one or pick a different color... I always check cars direct to see what the sell cars for but I have purchased from them so I'm Curious how the process works if you can let me know

$40,790 with all my options. Decent price, not great, but I am getting what I want.

The process is seamless, and very user friendly. They find the car, broker the deal, and will arrange delivery to your house if you'd like. All at no additional charge. All you have to do is be present to sign the docs. When you factor in the cost for your time, i am getting a real good deal. It has taken me about 20 min. total so far to do this deal.

This probably doesn't help you, but there's a Flint Mica w/Black Leather here with all the goodies for MSRP of $47,108 or whatever ... funny thing is that the sticker says 18" wheels yet it has the 17s on it ... someone must've wanted the 18s on another RX on the lot and they exchanged them. Would think the speedometer and other stuff would need recalibrating, right?
