Finally got my new RX330... and I feel so satisfied
I finally got my RX330 yesterday and what a fantastic car it is!
I tossed between the RX, ML, X5 and even an E320 at one stage (don’t ask me why)… and I chose the RX over the rest. I definitely feel now that I have made the right choice. Drove the new car around town last night and I felt so… satisfied: very nice leather seats, the GPS navigation is so features packed (will take me some time to know all the functions), interior is spacious, the ML sound system is sweet, electric rear door is awesome and has a standard sunroof (unlike ML and X5… freaking expensive and don’t even come with a sunroof as standard).
My only disappointment so far is the light bulbs used in the park and spot lights. They are so YELLOW compared to the headlight. I am going to replace them with the MITEC and Rayberg blue bulbs I used in the last car. I will post some pics for everyone to look at.

I cannot be happier about my decision to get the RX.
I have also noticed a few little handy features such as tinted side mirrors (no different during day time but reduces the brightness of other cars' headlights at night ), one touch sunroof operation, auto down on all windows, lighted door sill plates (not sure about the name, but I am refering to the lighted Lexus logo on the botton of each door, expandable door pockets.
Actually... I have got a question for my fellow RX owners... where is the best place to put a garage door remote controller? Is there a coin holder anywhere in the car?
Thanks

Anyway, what is the best way to run in the engine? Shall I drive under a certain speed and RPM? Also for the interior, shall I apply leather protection products on the leather? What is a good brand?

Congrats on your new ride. The new bulbs look great.
I'd follow the break in period listed in the Lex own manual. No fast starts or stops, no high speeds. I've always done this for the first thousand miles on all my new cars without problems.
I have used Lexol products for my leather interiors for many, many years. It has been a trusty product. I have a 92 Miata with almost perfect leather interior. I also use it on my home furnishings.
Bummer you don't have the Home Link sys, I'd probably go with putting it in the handle on the door, where you pull it to close or simply clip it on the visor. You also might velcro it to the underside of the drink holder lid, although that would require you to open the lid each time.
Enjoy
