I had my door locks changed to open with park @ my 5k service and when the service writer said it would be a $25.00 fee, I complained and threatened that I was going to call Lex cust service she quickly said there would be no charge.

I have been very displeased with my Lexus dealer experience. Herrin-Gear Lexus Jackson, MS. I mark them poor on every customer survey. And I thought Mazda was bad!!

I need to check on the rear door time, I always feel like I am going to break the button on the remote waiting for the door to start beeping.

I removed the two beepers... one inside the back hatch and the other in the front driver's side fender. They were so loud and annoyed my neighbors every time the hatch would open/close or the doors would lock/unlock. I just unplugged and removed them..... I don't think they are necessary. The alarm still works through another horn.

As for programming locks, I was only able to program out the shift position settings. The double unlock, rear hatch time and eliminating the 60 second re-lock when the doors aren't opened soon enough (which screws up my remote start) I have yet to figure out.

Probably have to chat with the dealer and pay the "protection money".
