I initially posted this question in the Suspension and handling section but did not get any response, so am posting here now. Moderators, please leave this post here for a few days so that people can see it and perhaps respond to it.

I did a search in the RX forum but did not come up with much of anything regarding my question below:

A close friend of mine just bought a 04 RX330 and I want to find out how he can lower it. I found the Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs on Tirerack.com, but what is strange is that there are no stiffer shocks to go with these springs.

Anyone on here put on stiffer shocks on their RX? The ghastly gap is driving me and him nuts. Plus he wants to improve the handling a bit. Are there stiffer shocks to go with the Eibach Pro-kit springs? He is not prepared to go the coilover route as it is too expensive right now.
