What vehicle did your rx replace?
Our 1999 Rx300 replaced a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder.
Very happy with the Lexus ride and quality, not to mention practicality.
Cheers,
Fern

Bigger family...
I've not got the 1999 RX yet, but I expect to be hunting one down (or perhaps a 2000) sometime next year. We're about to have our first child (I found out today that it's going to be a boy), so we'll need a bit more space that our 1997 Malibu can provide.

hey boxsoft, good luck in hunting for your rx. Be sure that you know what really happened to it or, buy from a original owner because most likely those would be in good condition.

My 2002 RX replaced my 2000 Durango SXT Plus.
No complaints, in fact very happy other than when i need to tote around my kids and thier friends.
No need to compare comfort or luxury. V8 Magnum power is nice from time to time but IMHO, no big deal, especially when your hitch pulls nothing heavier than 4 bikes.
The AWD RX blows away the 4wd Durango in basic bad road conditions and even in very wet or a lot of snow like NJ saw last winter. The back end of the Durango flew out so many times. I guess thats a great feeling if you enjoy feeling your heart bursting through your chest .
