Default Rat Ate Wire Near Coils HELP

Guys,
Getting misfire on # 2, so I took the cover off and low and behold the wire to this connector had been eaten through. Problem is, I dont know the technical term for this connector. Here is a picture.
Tried to splice but chewed too close to connector.
What part is this and can I get the connector with wire pigtails to spice into harness.

Thanks for any help

Welcome to Club Lexus.

That area has connector for some vacuum valves (blue and brown connectors) and if it is going down then it is the fuel injector connector. Since there is a v-bank cover, we dont get to see this on regular basis.

You can rebuild the connector .. will be expensive going to the dealer or simply acquire one from salvage yard with about 3 inches of leads and splice it in.

it appears to be the fuel injector connector. To verify, see if there are 2 additional identical connectors along the front in the same position parallel to the fuel rail. The most time and cost effective way to repair is to solder on a pigtail. If you are close to an O'Reilly's you can take your cut connector and see if it matches BWD part #PT2318 as a replacement (about $4). Otherwise, you can try to salvage the connector by releasing the pins( with jewelers screwdriver, sewing needle, special terminal tool) and solder additional wire to create a pigtail.

I would go to a junk yard and buy a pigtail off another lexus. Bring yours with, because you may need to get it from a camry, sienna, etc. just cut the wires long so you have someyhing to work with. They are cheap, so grab 2 or 3 at the same time.

a pigtail is a plug with a length of wires.
