Default New spark plug wires and mpg

do new spark plug wires enhance mpg? Not sure. However, I read from somewhere that old wires (over 100K miles) may not be good enough and have corroded. Do you think there is some truth to that?

Please explain what 'spark plug wires' you have in mind. The RX has coil-on-plug, i.e., no traditional spark plug wires.

Learned something new today. just goes to show you I've never done spark plug replacements myself........

I guess the answer, then, is "Does not apply" to our RX model?

Correct. The RX300 has 6 coils, one per spark plug, connected directly to the plug.
