No reverse
I just bought a 99 rx300 and there is no reverse you can put it into drive and it drive's just fine what would make reverse not work and how can I fix it

Please have the transmission fluid examined on your own and have the transmission checked out by an expert. Do not have the transmission flushed.
Not always, but what you are experiencing is a typical sign of transmission going bad. I hope you have an option to reverse out of the sale.
